Coordination Pattern Training Coordination Pattern™ Training for Movement & Mind Our neuromuscular tension, called Coordination Pattern™, controls our quality of motion (to thrust or push, to shape or hold, to swing or bounce, to hang or flow) and the way we relax and handle tension. Because these patterns are central to movement, improving the use of them also improves breathing, gait, alignment, flexibility, range of motion, and motor skills. It prepares us for all other movement and exercise training, such as Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, dance and sports. But more than that, these neuromuscular patterns ‘coordinate’ the way we move with the processes of our brain; sensating, thinking, feeling, intuition and much more. Through this oneness of mind and motion we experience and express our selves, from something as simple as brushing our teeth to something as complex as the way we argue, create a painting, play golf, or relate to our boss and family. With these patterns our mind and motion create styles; all types of styles, learning, business, family, art, music, sports, cultural and dance. Coordination Pattern Training makes us aware of how our mind and motion integrate and how to utilize this awareness to improve our every activity. Through simple, easy exercises these neuromuscular patterns of self become a tool for an easier, healthier life. Read about Elizabeth » Elizabeth (Betsy) Wetzig, BA, CCPT |
