I like the way Tai Chi class taps into the subtle energies in our body. It looks easy, but once you do it, it doesn't take long to realize it's a great practice.

Thanks for you comment! Yes, when we get ahold of the little habits (with the patterns) that make up our daily life, it is amazing how the big picture can totaly change for the better, and how those little nagging, chronic pains can disapear!

This class really helped me see how the little movements we take for granted can have a big impact into how we patternize our bodies. The mind guides those patterns so with awareness, we can free up some of the clutter we create in our daily routines.

Hey Steve!!

Body fat % is always a good way to monitor your success if you are setting goals. I actually would view the body fat as more importiant than the scale going down. As you build muscle, your weight may not change as quickly because muscle weighs more than fat. Clothes start to fit better and you can start to feel much leaner, hence a drop in body fat %. Hope this helps!!

I remember seeing Bill Moyer's TV documentary on Mind/Health in the 80"s. He showed a group of Chinese people on a lawn doing Tai Chi and let the veiwer's see each person for a bit before flashing their age on the screen. They all looked at least ten years younger to my eyes.

Carol Siddiqi is the real deal. She is fantastic at all the healing work and classes she facilitates. Myself and my children have taken group and private classes with her for about 20 years. These classes have opened me to a world of beauty and possibility, I didn't know existed. I feel relieved even before I get in her presence! Diane Griffin

Thanks Carolyn. Yes! Unless there is joy in our work, what is the point? And the cool thing is that enjoying our life and work brings greater success.

Be well (and joyous)
