Gale Maleskey, MS, RD is an integrative nutrition counselor and a certified Wellness Coach. Her practice combines the best of traditional and complementary nutrition therapy. Above all, she strives to help people develop the deeply personal motivation and strategies that allow them to achieve their own vision of wellness. Her goal is to help people enjoy food, life, and good health.
Trained in the University of Arizona’s Program in Integrative Medicine, she is certified in Nutrition and Cardiovascular Disease and Nutrition and Cancer. These courses are part of Dr. Andrew Weil’s well-known integrative medicine program for health care professionals. She is a member of the American Dietetics Association and of three of its practice groups, Nutrition in Functional Medicine, Healthy Aging and Behavioral Health. She teaches Healthy Cooking classes at the Cancer Support Community of the Lehigh Valley.
Gale enjoys working with people who want to lose weight and look and feel better, and she is also able to help people with serious health issues, such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, autoimmune diseases, osteoporosis, arthritis, depression, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, food allergies, gastrointestinal disorders, migraine, kidney disease, and others. Depending on your diagnosis and insurance policy, nutritional services may be reimbursable.
