Mike Pope, MBA, CYT has experienced yoga as a student and teacher for nearly ten years. He has explored various styles of yoga and movement throughout the US, as well as in China and Korea. For his 200-hour RYT, Mike was trained in Hatha Yoga at Namaste Yoga in Royal Oak, MI. Additionally, he completed a 100-hour Immersion into Anusara Yoga and a 33-hour Anusara Teacher Training. Also, he has studied under celebrated teachers John Friend, Desiree Rumbaugh, Sianna Sherman, Todd Tesen, Sue Elkind, Naime Jezzeny, Athul Thakur and many others. He regularly attends classes or workshops in alignment, anatomy, pranayama, and better back techniques. Mike is also a practitioner of Ayurveda and completed courses in pulse diagnosis. Mike focuses mainly on listening to and aligning the body into optimal position to explore deeper into your mind/body connection and opening to your full potential.
