Table exercises: arms, upper body, hips, legs & low-frequency sound waves therapy
EXTRAORDINARY MACHINE ▪ INNOVATIVE TRAINING
The Multimaster Pilates Table provides a full body workout in just 15 to 30 minutes. You can exercise your muscles in a semi-passive state, known as Continuous Passive Motion or CPM, which works through repetitive, isokinetic movements to isolate muscle groups. These slow, continuous, smooth, and controlled workouts improve your overall health – physically, mentally and emotionally.
This power-assisted exercise machine is for all major muscle groups regardless of age or disability.
Pilates – strengthens the core and deep postural muscles and addresses muscle imbalance.
Coordination Pattern™ Training – helps reduce habituated stress reactions, utilize movement in the most efficient and healthiest way and improve the mind.
The Feldenkrais® Method – improves function through the exploration of body movement patterns and the use of attention.
Counselors – help to release emotional tension and change the patterns of behavior that interfere with your ability to reach your goals.
Nutrition & Lifestyle Consultants – help achieve health and wellness goals by examining your eating habits and finding simple ways to improve them.
Therapeutic Massage and Other Modalities – help to release toxins, mobilize energy and muscle systems, and quicken the release of tight and “bound up” muscles.
The passive or assisted exercise machine, which present day toning systems are based on, was developed by Bernard Stauffer, a physiotherapist in the 1930’s. His wife suffered with Polio and he wanted a way of improving her mobility, flexibility and circulation without having to spend a lot of time massaging and manipulating her each day. Since then it has been on the cutting edge of health care – especially in Europe. Over the years, the benefits of this machine have been proven over and over.
Study for elderly at Oklahoma State University showed that exercising on this equipment just
30 minutes, 2 times a week for 10 weeks resulted in:
Results: Analysis yielded significant improvements by the experimental group over the control group in all measures of muscle endurance, balance, and functional capacity.
