Echoes of traumatic experiences continue to live in the body and mind and affect the person long after the experience is over. The healing approach is holistic in the sense that it woks with all dimensions of life – the body and brain, mind and emotions, relationships and spirit.

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY TREATMENTS:

TaiChi Easy® – this easy method is designed to improve the quality of life for people of all ages – whether well or unwell. This includes those who may be dealing with disease, chronic pain and health conditions, limited mobility, deficient immune systems, anxiety or depression. Using simplified Tai Chi based on the four major recognized styles of Tai Chi, this program is straightforward and highly adaptable resulting in empowerment in self-care and self-management skills. It is a wonderful relaxing spiritual journey!
Barbara received her master’s in Philosophy from the Penn State University, Family Therapy Training at Philadelphia Child Guidance Clinic, Certified Master Practitioner of NLP from NLP Comprehensive, Boulder Colorado, and Certification in Traumatic Stress Studies from the Trauma Center, Bookline, Mass.. She is trained in various advanced technology treatments that help individuals get back to living a more productive life. Barbara has been Director of Trauma Services and Clinical Supervisor at the Penn Foundation in Buck’s County, Pennsylvania.
Barbara draws on many resources, including interpersonal Neurobiology, Non Violent Communication, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), the intergral framework of Ken Wilber, the Enneagram structure of personality, and various technologies.
Working as a mental health professional for the last 2 decades has allowed Barbara to see the devasting effects of overwhelming experiences on mind, brain/body, relationships and spirit. Barbara’s professional focus is to help individuals who have chronic childhood experiences of abuse and neglect, difficult experiences of any kind that overwhelmed a person’s capacity to cope and difficult relationships. Families and couples gave Barbara the opportunity to witness first-hand the tremendous capacity of our relationships to support, sustain and heal us.
